# September 2026

> What changed in LatentCast in September 2026, with the day it reached you.

## Engagement in Insights

**2026-09-23** · One page shows how your recipients responded: who opened their page, played the
video, watched past half, clicked the call to action and rated it. Compare campaigns, batches or
presenters, pick the period by send date, and download it as an Excel file.

## Your own call to action

**2026-09-15** · The button on a viewing page is yours to set: an email to the presenter or a link
to your own page, with your own label. The profile shows a live preview, and every click is counted.

## Stories in Dutch and French

**2026-09-11** · Make a story in Dutch (Belgium or the Netherlands) or French (France or Belgium),
formal or informal, from documents in that language. The narration, the viewing page and the outreach
copy follow. [Creating a story](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/stories/creating-a-story.md)

## Backgrounds you steer

**2026-09-08 to 2026-09-11** · Personalized scenes get backgrounds you control: visual guidelines on the
profile, generated candidates to choose from, or a collection of your own photographs.
[Building a profile](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/personalization/building-a-profile.md)

## Names said right

**2026-09-02** · Build pronunciation dictionaries straight from the names and companies in your
recipient list. Since 5 September a review flags the terms likely to be mispronounced, before you
produce. [Dictionaries from your list](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/names/dictionaries-from-your-list.md)

## Also in September

* **2026-09-27** · Links to viewing pages show a proper preview card in Teams, LinkedIn and Slack.
* **2026-09-26** · **Every voice recording is checked** before it is used, so a recording that is
too quiet or too noisy never reaches a video. [Your voice](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/presenters/your-voice.md#we-check-every-recording)
* **2026-09-25** · **Every voice plays at the same loudness**, so no video comes out too loud or too
  quiet.
* **2026-09-25** · **Restart a batch**, or one recipient, from the step you choose; each failure
says whether it lies in the content, the profile or with us.
  [Reading a failure](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/campaigns/campaigns-and-batches.md#reading-a-failure)
* **2026-09-22** · **Mark as sent** records when you sent a batch from your own tool, and the
viewing pages list filters by campaign and batch. [Manifest and sending](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/campaigns/manifest-and-sending.md)
* **2026-09-22** · **Your own team's visits never count** on a viewing page.
  [What the numbers mean](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/insights/what-the-numbers-mean.md)
* **2026-09-17** · **Add recipients to a canvas** that has already produced videos, and correct a
  recipient's details in place.
* **2026-09-17** · **Trigger words** keep an on-screen event on its phrase in every personalized
  video. [Events and scenes](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/stories/events-and-scenes.md)
* **2026-09-17** · **Image style guidance** in the story wizard sets the look of the generated
  backgrounds. [Creating a story](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/stories/creating-a-story.md)
* **2026-09-07** · **The viewing page logo** can be the recipient's or your own.
  [Viewing pages](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/campaigns/viewing-pages.md)
* **2026-09-03 and 2026-09-08** · Years, dates, Roman numerals and product names such as *Microsoft 365* are
spoken the way people say them.
* **2026-09-01** · **A batch checks every presenter's consent** before it starts, and you can pick
its recipients in several passes. [When a batch will not start](https://www.latentcast.com/docs/guides/campaigns/campaigns-and-batches.md#when-a-batch-will-not-start)

## Fixed

* **2026-09-26** · **Changing a story's presenter** works again, and uploaded images get thumbnails.
* **2026-09-22** · **Signing off** no longer fails on a long version label.
* **2026-09-22** · **A render stuck waiting on video encoding** fails after half an hour instead of
hanging, so you can restart it.
* **2026-09-21** · **Recipients you deselect** in a canvas stay deselected, and the selected count
  stays right.
* **2026-09-21** · **The AI label** appears in every story language, and sign-off warns when a story
  has none.
* **2026-09-21** · **Signed-off versions** keep all their images and videos.
* **2026-09-21** · **A change to a profile no longer reaches a batch in progress**: a change that would
  is refused, naming the batch.
* **2026-09-17** · **On-screen events** in personalized videos follow the profile's styling.
* **2026-09-17** · **Stories in British English** keep British spelling.
* **2026-09-17** · **Phonetic pronunciation rules** are applied as written, and you can listen to each
  one.
* **2026-09-11** · **Opening a personalized story** no longer bounces between the story and its
  profile.
* **2026-09-11** · **Saving a profile's style** keeps its scene timings.
* **2026-09-11** · **Pages no longer hang** when several LatentCast tabs are open.

## Security

* **2026-09-25** · **Tighter access control**: files and media are reachable only within their own
organization, internal tools only by LatentCast staff, and test endpoints are gone.
* **2026-09-11** · **Signing out ends your session on our side too**, and tabs signed in to different
accounts no longer mix them up.
