# You have been cast

> Someone has asked you to present a set of personalized videos. Here is what that means, what you are agreeing to, and the three things you need to do.

A colleague is preparing personalized videos for your accounts, and they have asked for **you** to
be the person on screen. That is what a casting request is.

This page is the whole picture. It takes about fifteen minutes of your time, once.

## What is actually being made

Your customers each receive a short video introducing something, made specifically for them: their
name, their company, and a reason it is arriving now. Rather than a stranger or a logo, they see
**you**, because you are the person they already know.

Nothing is filmed. LatentCast builds your presence once, from a photo and a short recording, and
then uses it to present each video.

## What you are agreeing to

Be clear-eyed about this, because it is your face and your voice.

  present **this particular outreach**. Not everything, not forever.
* **You choose** which likeness and which voice are used.
* **Nothing is produced until you say yes.** There is no administrator who can approve this for you,
  and no way around it in the product.
* You can decline, and you can change your setup later, which asks for your agreement again.

## The three things to do

You do all three in your own account, under **Proxies**. Your colleague cannot do any of it for you,
and cannot see your recordings.

## Why the sequence matters

Consent cannot be granted until both an avatar and a voice exist, because until then there is
nothing specific to agree to. If the **Grant** button is unavailable, that is the reason, and the
request itself tells you which piece is missing.

## What happens after you agree

Videos for your accounts start being produced. Your shared scenes are made once and reused for every
one of your recipients, so the first takes a few minutes and the rest are fast.

You will not be asked again for this outreach unless you change your avatar or voice.
